1. Who we are
Obentx (“we,” “us”) is a Tri-Cell lunch tray ledger for iPhone. You photograph trays, mark compartment overlays, track Warm / Cool / Neutral balance, optionally record a voice note, and may browse an on-device Plaza of tray cards. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
2. Summary
- Obentx is designed to keep your lunch journal on your device.
- We do not require an account or cloud login to use the core ledger.
- Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Notifications are used only for features you choose to enable.
- In-app coin purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Plaza report / block actions currently apply locally on your device (they hide content for you).
3. Information we process
3.1 Content you create
Tray photos, Tri-Cell layouts, dish labels, color tones, notes, voice notes, occasion tags, Plaza captions, favorites, blocked authors, and report records you create are stored in the app’s local sandbox on your iPhone (and may be included in your encrypted iCloud/device backups if you use Apple Backup).
3.2 Profile display
A local display name and optional profile photo are stored on device so Plaza posts you share on this phone can show an author label. This is not a networked identity service.
3.3 Device permissions
- Camera — photograph today’s bento for Tri-Cell marking.
- Photo Library — import an existing photo, or save exported tray cards / HD images.
- Microphone — record an optional voice note attached to a tray.
- Notifications — optional lunch or incomplete-label reminders you turn on in Settings.
You can revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Obentx.
3.4 Purchases
Lacquer Purse coin packs are consumable In-App Purchases handled by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment. The app stores a local coin balance and purchase identifiers needed to credit packs and prevent duplicate grants on the same device transaction.
3.5 Diagnostics
Obentx does not include a third-party advertising SDK. If you share crash or feedback information with us by email, we will use it only to investigate and improve the app.
4. Plaza & sample content
Plaza can show sample tray cards shipped with the app for inspiration, plus cards you publish from your own trays on this device. Sample authors are illustrative (not live user accounts). Favoriting, reporting, and blocking update your local filters so the content is hidden for you; they do not send reports to a remote moderation server in the current version.
5. How we use information
- Provide the lunch ledger, Tri-Cell overlay, balance meter, exports, and reminders.
- Credit and spend coins for optional exports you choose.
- Remember your preferences (for example, reminder toggles and onboarding completion).
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Sharing
We do not operate a public social network backend for Obentx. Content you export (PDF, images) is shared only when you use the system share sheet or save to Photos. Apple may process purchase data under Apple’s privacy terms.
7. Retention & deletion
Your journal remains until you delete trays, clear app data in Me → Clear All Data, or delete the app. Clearing data resets local trays, Plaza cache, favorites, blocks, reports, and coins (welcome coins may be restored per the in-app flow). Deleting the app removes the app sandbox unless retained in a device backup you keep.
8. Children
Obentx is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app to submit personal information of children if you are not the parent or guardian managing the device.
9. International users
Because data is primarily stored on your device, processing occurs where your device is located. If you contact support by email, messages are handled in the region of our support inbox.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when features change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
